Russia fired ballistic missiles at Kiev this morning (Friday), killing one person, wounding nine and damaging the heating systems of hundreds of buildings in an attack Moscow said was in ‘retaliation’ for a Ukrainian missile attack on a Russian factory, AFP reported.
The mayor said ‘630 residential buildings, 16 health institutions’ and about 30 schools ‘all lost their heating’.
The Ukrainian Air Force said the attack was carried out by five Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, all of which were shot down.
