The Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsiya) announced on Saturday the suspension of arriving and departing flights at Kazan Airport following a drone attack launched by the Ukrainian military on the city.
Russian news agencies reported that the attack targeted a residential complex in Kazan, which is located about 800 kilometers east of Moscow.
TASS news agency reported eight drone strikes, six of which hit residential buildings. Despite the damage, there have been no reports of any casualties, according to local authorities.
