The General Command in Syria announced on Saturday the appointment of Asaad Hassan Al-Shibani as the new Foreign Minister in the interim government, without disclosing details about his qualifications for the position.

Azam Gharib, also known as Abu Al-Az Saraqeb, was appointed as the Governor of Aleppo. Gharib, born in Saraqeb in the Idlib countryside in 1985, is considered one of the prominent leaders of the Sham Legion, which is part of the Syrian National Army.
