The death toll from stampede incidents during two charitable events for Christmas in Nigeria has risen to 32, including four children.

The incidents occurred in the town of Okija in Anambra State, where 22 people died during food distribution. In contrast, 10 others lost their lives in a similar event in the capital, Abuja.
