A large bushfire continues to burn in Victoria, Australia, with expectations that it will last for several more days, prompting authorities to issue evacuation orders for hundreds of residents, officials confirmed on Sunday.
The fire, which began on Tuesday in Grampians National Park, about 241 kilometers west of Melbourne, has already destroyed 84,000 acres of bushland.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Officer of the Country Fire Authority, Garry Cook, explained that the biggest challenge lies in the large amounts of unburnt fuel in the area, which complicates efforts to control the blaze in the coming days.
