Protests in Belgrade Against President Vucic

Belgrade witnessed a large gathering of university students and farmers’ unions in Slavija Square, protesting against President Aleksandar Vucic.

The demonstrations are part of a continuing series of protests demanding accountability for those responsible for the collapse of a roof at the railway station in Novi Sad.

The march began with a minute of silence for the victims, followed by chants accusing the authorities of negligence.

Protests also spread to the cities of Niš and Kragujevac, where demonstrators called for accountability from Vucic and the Chinese companies involved in dubious projects.
