The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) announced on Tuesday that armed factions in Syria have reached an agreement to dissolve themselves and integrate under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense, following a meeting between their leaders and the head of the new Syrian administration, Ahmed Al-Sharaa.

According to the agency, which relies on sources from the military operations room and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, the agreement aims to merge the factions under the Ministry of Defense as part of efforts to reorganize the Syrian armed forces.
