Benghazi Municipality in Libya has decided to suspend classes in all educational institutions on Wednesday due to severe weather conditions and the forecast of heavy rainfall.
The decision applies to students from kindergarten to grade 5 in Benghazi, as well as in the cities of Gharyan, Tarhuna, and Sirte.
The government of Hamad has directed municipalities to declare a school holiday for Wednesday and Thursday, as the northern regions of Libya are experiencing strong winds and heavy rain due to the impact of a low-pressure system, which is expected to last until the end of the week.
