Tourism revenues in Tunisia reached $2.3 billion by December 20, 2024, marking a 7.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The number of tourists is expected to exceed 10 million by the end of the year, setting a new record. The sector has also contributed to strengthening foreign currency reserves, which reached 25 billion Tunisian dinars (equivalent to $8 billion).
The tourism sector is a vital pillar of the national economy, contributing around 9% of the GDP and providing approximately 400,000 job opportunities.
