Thousands of people gathered in Khost City, Afghanistan, on Saturday to protest against the airstrikes carried out by Pakistan on their country.

Pakistan conducted a military operation in Paktika province last Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of dozens, including women and children.

Protesters affirmed that “the people of Khost are ready to defend their land against Pakistani attacks.”In response to the airstrikes, the Afghan Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted several sites within Pakistan on Saturday.
