The Houthi group announced the downing of a U.S. “MQ-9” drone while it was on a mission in the skies over Al-Bayda Governorate.
The group confirmed that the operation was successful, stating that the drone was engaged in espionage activities.
On Saturday, the Houthi group issued a statement declaring that they “targeted the Negev Air Base, which belongs to the Israeli enemy, in the occupied Negev region with a hypersonic ballistic missile called Palestine 2.”
They added that the operation is “in support of the Palestinian people,” vowing to carry out more military operations against the Israeli occupation until it ceases its military actions in Gaza and lifts the siege on the enclave.
