Israeli occupation forces stormed the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza on Friday, threatening medical staff and patients and demanding its immediate evacuation, a week after the Kamal Adwan Hospital was burned to the ground.
Local media sources confirmed that the hospital is currently under heavy siege, with occupation vehicles continuing to fire in its vicinity, according to the Palestinian news agency Sanad.
The sources indicated that most of those trapped inside the hospital are women and children, in addition to a number of injured people who are completely immobilised.
The director of the Indonesian hospital said that medical supplies have completely run out, calling for urgent international intervention to prevent the deaths of the wounded being treated in the hospital.
He noted that the Israeli occupation army continues to bulldoze the perimeter of the hospital, destroying all elements of life in the area.
