Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced that his government is discussing retaliatory measures against Ukraine following Kyiv’s closure of the pipeline supplying Russian natural gas to Central Europe.

Fico threatened to cut financial aid to over 130,000 Ukrainian refugees living in Slovakia as part of these measures.
According to the UN Refugee Agency, there are 130,532 Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia as of December 8.
