At least six people were killed and 32 others injured when a bus plunged into a river in Peru’s Ancash region.

Health officials said in a statement that the bus skidded and overturned, killing six people, leaving six missing and 32 injured.

A police unit is searching for the missing in the area, the statement said, without specifying the cause of the accident.
