The foreign minister of the new Syrian government, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, said on Friday that he will visit Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan in the coming days.

In a post on the X platform, al-Shibani added: “I will represent my country Syria this week in an official visit to our brothers in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We look forward to the contribution of these visits in supporting stability, security, economic recovery and building excellent partnerships”.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart Asaad al-Shaibani on Friday, during which they agreed to organize a visit by a large Syrian ministerial delegation to discuss enhancing cooperation, Amman said.
