Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaybani confirmed that the new Syria is moving towards establishing positive and balanced relations with its Arab, regional, and international surroundings.

This statement came during a press conference in Doha following his meeting with Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Al-Shaybani explained that the new relations will enhance peace and cooperation, moving away from the ties of the previous regime, and emphasized Syria’s efforts to restore its relationships in a way that promotes stability and development.

The meeting also addressed strategic issues and Syria’s roadmap for rebuilding the country and empowering its people with their civil rights.
