The U.S. Department of State has informed Congress of a plan to sell $8 billion worth of weapons to the Israeli occupation amid escalating conflict with the Hamas resistance movement in Gaza.

The deal includes medium-range air-to-air missiles, 155mm artillery shells for long-range targeting, AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, 500-pound bombs, and other munitions.
