Al-Qaeda has reported the death of a local group leader in Mali, “Tierno Amadou Tal,” while in custody of the Macina  Liberation Front. Tal, known for his moderate stance against extremism, was abducted over a week ago on the border  with Mauritania

It is believed that the group intended to interrogate Tal for information about the war against the Malian army, supported by Wagner, but the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, causing significant concern among his followers
