USA: Over 1,300 Flights Canceled Due to Snowstorm

Airlines in the United States have canceled more than 1,300 flights today, Monday, due to a winter storm accompanied by snow, ice, and low temperatures.
According to FlightAware, 1,306 flights were canceled, and 414 others were delayed as of 10:13 GMT. Southwest Airlines was the most affected, canceling 264 flights, followed by American Airlines with 176 cancellations.
Airlines such as Delta and United also issued warnings about the storm’s impact on flights, while the Federal Aviation Administration warned of strong winds and freezing conditions affecting travel.
