The Republic of Ghana has decided to suspend its diplomatic relations with the “Sahrawi Republic,” according to an official document issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
The document was directed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Ghana confirmed that it will notify the government of Morocco, the African Union, and the United Nations of this decision through diplomatic channels.
Additionally, it expressed its support for Morocco’s sincere efforts to reach a solution acceptable to all parties involved.
