South Korean authorities issued a new arrest warrant against ousted President Yoon Suk-yeol on Tuesday, following  his attempt to briefly declare martial law.

Investigators were unable to execute the arrest order last Friday and are now investigating whether he incited rebellion.

Yoon is the first president in South Korea to face arrest for attempting to declare martial law in December, an act that sparked political turmoil in the country.
