The Belgian Grand Prix remains on the Formula 1 calendar until 2031

The Belgian Grand Prix remains part of the Formula 1 calendar until 2031. Liberty Media, the rights holder for Formula 1, announced that the race will be held in the 2026, 2027, 2029, and 2031 seasons after an extension of the contract.
Meanwhile, the locations for the 2028 and 2030 races remain uncertain, with other European cities being considered. Additionally, the future of Imola and the Spanish Grand Prix remains unclear, while Formula 1 is looking to expand its presence in Africa and Asia.
However, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which has hosted 57 races, will maintain its prominent place on the calendar due to its rich history and significant upgrades to its facilities, reinforcing its important role in the coming years.
