The U.S. military targets two weapons storage facilities belonging to the Houthis

The U.S. military has launched precise strikes against two underground facilities belonging to the Houthis in Yemen, used for storing weapons, as part of efforts to reduce the threats posed by Iran-backed Houthis to military and commercial ships in the region.
In this context, U.S. Central Command confirmed that there were no casualties or damage to U.S. personnel or equipment.
These strikes come in response to Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since the outbreak of the Gaza War in October 2023, which led to a decline in maritime traffic in the region.
