On Wednesday US President-elect Donald Trump posted two photos showing a map of the United States that includes Canada, according to Sky News.

In a post on the “Truth Social” platform, Trump commented on one of the photos showing the unified map of America and its northern neighbor together under the American flag, saying, “Oh Canada.”

Trump has vowed to use “economic force” against Canada, a neighboring ally he has called for annexation.

He added that a merger of “Canada and the United States would be a positive step. Imagine what it would be like if we got rid of this artificially drawn line. It would also be much better in terms of national security.”

Trump has previously said of Canada: “We have more than them and we don’t need anything from them. Why are we losing $200 billion a year to protect Canada?”
