The annual conference of the Boao Forum 2025 will be held from March 25 to 28 in Boao, South China’s Hainan Province, said Zhang Jiyun, secretary-general of the Boao Forum, on Wednesday.

Zhang added that this year’s edition, themed “Asia in a Changing World: Toward a Shared Future,” will focus on development, promote dialogue and explore innovative forms and tangible results to advance international development and cooperation, Zhang said.

The theme will revitalize multilateralism, promote openness and development, jointly respond to global challenges and implement the commitments of the UN Future Summit with a focus on development in Asia, Zhang said.

A number of officials from international and regional organizations, ministerial-level officials, businessmen from “Fortune Global 500 companies”, renowned experts and academics have confirmed their participation in the upcoming annual conference, Zhang said, adding that the theme of the upcoming session will revitalize multilateralism and promote openness and development, jointly respond to global challenges and implement the commitments of the UN Future Summit with a focus on development in Asia.
