Preliminary Data Extracted from One of the Black Boxes of the South Korean Boeing Aircraft

South Korean authorities reported that the black boxes of the Boeing 737, which crashed last month, stopped recording four minutes before the incident, which could complicate the investigation into the cause of the disaster that resulted in 179 fatalities.

The aircraft, operated by Jeju Air, veered off the runway on December 29 due to a malfunction in the landing gear system, causing it to collide with a concrete structure and ignite a fire.
