Clashes in the city of Al-Ajilat stopped on Saturday evening after the intervention of Battalion 52 as a neutral force to mediate the conflict between the “103 Infantry Battalion” and an armed group led by Hatim Al-Fahri.
The clashes resulted in the deaths of five people, including a woman and her three children. The conflicting parties used light and medium weapons, causing panic among residents.
Locals called for a ceasefire and for safe corridors to be provided for evacuation, while the Red Crescent urged for the facilitation of the evacuation of civilians trapped in the conflict zones.
