A South Korean deputy reported that approximately 300 North Korean soldiers were killed while fighting in the Russian war against Ukraine.

Lee Sung-kyu added that the number of injured has reached around 2,700. According to the South Korean intelligence agency, losses among North Koreans assisting Russia have exceeded 3,000.
