Sudanese medics reported that more than 120 people were killed on Monday in shelling of an area in Omdurman, part of Greater Khartoum.

As a result of the indiscriminate shelling on the Dar al-Salam area, the initial number of casualties is 120 civilians,’ said the Ombada ambulance, part of a network of volunteer rescuers across Sudan, without specifying who was behind the shelling, according to AFP.
