Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani said on Tuesday that he would visit Turkey on Wednesday.

We will represent the new Syria tomorrow in the first official visit to the Republic of Turkey, which has not abandoned the Syrian people for 14 years,’ he wrote in his account on the X platform.

Al-Shaibani’s visit to Turkey is part of the new Syrian government’s diplomatic movement towards a number of countries to inform them of its vision and what it is implementing after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Since taking office, al-Shibani visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Jordan earlier this month.
