Turkey Opens New Consulate and Launches Direct Flights to Benghazi

Turkey has announced the opening of a new consulate in Benghazi and the launch of direct flights to the city starting Tuesday.

This move is part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, with Libya aiming to enhance internal stability while Turkey continues to expand its economic and diplomatic relations in the region.
Meanwhile, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Jeremy Brunt, reported that he met with General Khaled, son of Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in Benghazi to discuss U.S. support for efforts to unify Libya’s military institutions and enhance the capabilities of the country’s security forces.
