Algeria Appoints Abdelkader Rakaibi as New Ambassador to Libya

The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the appointment of Abdelkader Rakaibi as the new ambassador to Libya, succeeding the current ambassador, Suleiman Shnin.
The Libyan government has approved Rakaibi’s appointment as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Libya.
Rakaibi is an experienced Algerian diplomat with a distinguished career, holding degrees in national security and diplomatic studies.
He has held several diplomatic positions, including First Secretary at the Algerian Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Diplomatic Advisor in the Benelux countries, Deputy Consul General in Casablanca, and Ambassador of Algeria to Lebanon.
He also served as Director for the Mashreq and Arab League Affairs at the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
