The Ukrainian Air Force announced today that its defences had shot down 93 drones launched by Russia, while 47 aircraft had disappeared in different areas.

Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that Russia launched 141 drones and dummy aircraft from five directions: Milrovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Forty-seven of the launched aircraft disappeared from radar without causing any damage on the ground, and two of them returned to Russia.

Since the conflict began in February 2022, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily announcements of downed drones.
