The Israeli occupation forces released 200 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and heavy sentences, as part of the implementation of the second phase of the prisoner exchange deal, as part of the ceasefire between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli occupation.

The media office of the prisoners in Gaza announced that the second batch includes the release of 121 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, 79 prisoners with various sentences and the deportation of 70 prisoners abroad in exchange for the release of 4 Israeli female soldiers.
