Amid the ongoing military escalation in Gaza, children are suffering the most from the devastating effects of the war, which has resulted in a staggering number of casualties and injuries.

According to UN reports, more than 13,000 Palestinian children have been killed, and around 25,000 others have been injured. Additionally, over 25,000 children have been transferred to hospitals due to malnutrition.

In this context, James Kariuki, the Deputy UK Ambassador to the UN, described Gaza as the “most dangerous place in the world” for children, noting that these children did not choose this war, but they are paying the highest price.
