Moroccan authorities, represented by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations, thwarted a dangerous terrorist plot early Sunday that was in the preparation stages for explosive attacks.

The bureau announced in an official statement that the security operation led to the arrest of four extremists, including three brothers aged between 26 and 35, affiliated with ISIS, active in the Had Soualem area of Berrechid.

The operation was conducted at two locations using advanced techniques, involving bomb detection teams and a Royal Gendarmerie helicopter.
