Amid the deteriorating situation in Gaza due to the war with Hamas, U.S. President Donald Trump announced his call for Jordan and Egypt to welcome more Palestinians fleeing the conflict.

Trump explained in his statements that he asked Jordan’s King Abdullah II, during a phone call, to accept a larger number of Palestinians, noting that the situation in Gaza had become chaotic and devastating.

He also confirmed that this suggestion could be temporary or permanent, emphasizing the need for cooperation with Arab countries to provide new housing for Palestinians in safe areas away from the conflict.
