Hezbollah Rejects Extension of Israeli Forces in Lebanon and Affirms Commitment to Ceasefire

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naeem Qassem, stated in his speech that the extension of Israeli forces in Lebanese territory is completely rejected, emphasizing that the party will not accept any justifications for an extension even for one day.

He noted that any consequences resulting from the delay are the responsibility of the United Nations and the sponsoring countries.

Qassem affirmed the party’s full commitment to the ceasefire agreement, pointing out that the Israeli occupation has violated the deal 1,350 times.

He also described Israeli actions in southern Lebanon as retaliatory and reflective of their defeat, asserting that Lebanon would not accept any form of normalization with the delay.
