Ukrainian officials reported on Thursday that a Russian drone launched an attack in the evening hours on northeastern Ukraine, destroying a residential building and resulting in the deaths of at least 6 people and injuring nine others.

According to the United Nations, the ongoing war, which has lasted nearly three years between Moscow and Kyiv, has led to the deaths of more than 10,000 Ukrainian civilians.

Fighting has intensified recently in the eastern Donetsk region, which is partially controlled by Russian force.
