8 Israeli soldiers wounded in West Bank shooting attack; Hamas blesses operation

Eight Israeli soldiers were wounded on Tuesday morning in a shooting attack at a military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.

Occupation army radio said in a post on ‘X’ that 8 soldiers were wounded, two of them in serious condition, in a shooting attack at the ‘Tayasir’ military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.

In a later post, the Israeli army announced the ‘neutralisation’ of the perpetrator of the operation against the soldiers at the Tayasir military post after an exchange of fire.

Hamas said on Tuesday that the shooting attack at an Israeli military checkpoint in the northern West Bank confirmed that Israel’s crimes ‘will not go unpunished’.

The statement came in response to the shooting by a Palestinian at the Tayasir military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, in which eight Israeli soldiers were wounded.
