US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday night that America wants “long-term ownership” of the Gaza Strip, which has been devastated by Israel’s genocidal war, revealing the US plan to take control of the territory.

Trump’s statement came after he proposed the permanent resettlement of Gaza’s residents to other countries.

The United States is going to take control of the Gaza Strip, and it’s going to do a job there, too. We will launch an economic development plan in the Strip that will provide an unlimited number of jobs and housing for the residents of the Strip.
