More than 10,000 aid trucks have crossed the border into Gaza since a ceasefire took effect on 19 January, the UN humanitarian coordinator said today (Thursday), according to AFP.
Tom Fletcher said on the X-platform: “In the two weeks since the ceasefire, we have brought in more than 10,000 trucks, which is a massive increase in aid entering the Palestinian sector.
After more than 15 months of war between Israel and Hamas, Gaza and its more than two million people are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
