Rescue teams in Alaska are continuing their efforts to locate a plane that went missing while flying over the Norton Sound area, which was carrying 10 people.
According to the Alaska Department of Public Safety, the aircraft, a Cessna Caravan, was on a flight from Unalakleet to Nome, carrying nine passengers in addition to the pilot.
Authorities are working to determine the last known coordinates of the plane.
This incident comes just days after two other aviation accidents in the United States, where 67 people lost their lives due to a collision between a commercial aircraft and a military helicopter.
