Libyan authorities have found around 50 bodies in two mass graves in the country’s desert, marking a new tragedy for migrants.

The security directorate announced that the first grave was discovered in the city of Kufra, where 19 bodies were recovered and sent for autopsy.

Local media reported that the horrific images released by the directorate reflect the extent of suffering endured by migrants in Libya.
