The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday the expansion of Operation “Iron Wall” in the northern West Bank, where Israeli forces began moving into the Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarem.

The spokesperson confirmed that “the forces killed some militants and arrested wanted individuals.”

Media reports also indicated the martyrdom of a woman and serious injuries to her husband as a result of gunfire from the Israeli occupation army.

The governor of Tulkarem called on the international community to intervene to stop the increasing aggression against the governorate.
