Wildfires in Patagonia, Argentina, have been raging for 12 days, destroying over 3,000 hectares of forest land and numerous homes near the town of El Bolsón.

The fires have resulted in one death and pose a threat to the town due to dry weather and strong winds, prompting evacuation orders for affected areas.

This massive fire is the third of its kind to hit Patagonia this year, with planes, helicopters, and volunteers being deployed in firefighting efforts. Despite the arrival of a brief storm, it has not helped to curb the spread of the flames.
