During a Phone Call, Putin and Trump Agree to Meet to Discuss Ending the War in Ukraine

The Kremlin revealed on Wednesday that a phone call lasting an hour and a half took place between President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump, during which the two leaders discussed the issue of the war in Ukraine and agreed to hold a meeting soon to negotiate an end to military operations.

Trump announced via Truth Social that the call was productive and that they would work together.

The Ukrainian presidency also confirmed that President Zelensky had a call with Trump that lasted about an hour.
