The USS Harry S. Truman collided with the merchant vessel Piscitas-M on Wednesday near Port Said, Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea,’ the US command said in a statement.
The statement confirmed that there was no information yet on injuries or material damage, that the propulsion systems were in a safe and stable condition and that the incident was being investigated, according to Russia Today.
