The Ukrainian presidency announced on Monday that President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Saudi Arabia next Wednesday.

According to Ukrainian presidential spokesman Sergei Nikiforov, Zelensky will visit Saudi Arabia with his wife as part of a ‘long-planned’ official visit, AFP reported.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Riyadh earlier today for his first visit since taking office, as part of a regional tour that began yesterday in Israel. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Putin aide Ushakov are due to arrive in Saudi Arabia tomorrow (Tuesday) in preparation for ‘possible’ negotiations on Ukraine, and the Kremlin has emphasised that Saudi Arabia is a good place for Russia and USA.
