Gulf States, Egypt, and Jordan leaders to meet in Riyadh today

The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the King of Jordan and the President of Egypt will hold an informal Arab summit in Riyadh on Friday at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The meeting came at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, attended by leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

A meeting coincides with a delicate and sensitive phase in the region and the signing of US President Donald Trump’s plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and seize it.
